Here visitors can search for the marine life or just enjoy some time away from the main beach.

The West Shore is different in character and if often less busy due to its distance from the town centre which is approximately a 20 minute gentle walk from the town centre. The west shore beach is very flat so visitors should beware as the tide moves very quickly. At the south end of the beach sand dunes back onto the North Wales golf course and are popular for those looking for solitude. The west shore also has a boating pool as well as a children's play area and with a small shopping area just 2 minutes walk away it can be the perfect place to enjoy to the beach away from the crowds.
