The Welsh Mountain Zoo is located high above the town of Colwyn Bay and approximately 5 miles from the town of Llandudno. The zoo is easily reached by car from the main A55 dual carriageway (Junction 20) or alternatively during the summer and at easter the zoo provides a free bus from Colwyn Bay railway station which runs as a shuttle service.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo is home to a wide variety of animals from Snow Leopards to Sea Lions and actively promotes conservation and is involved with other organisations around the world to protect endangered species. Visitors walk through the lightly wooded pathways or take in the many shows on offer.

Children have an adventure playground available when they want to take a break and relax including rope bridges, slides, swings, and climbing frames.

The zoo is open all year from 9.30am to 5pm but closes at 4pm between November and February. A family ticket (for 2 adults and 2 children) costs just £24.95.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo is available for children's birthday parties from £7.95 per child and is available for parties of 6 or more children.
